Sheffield United Football Club is a professional English football club based in the city of Sheffield, South Yorkshire. They play in the English Football League Championship after they were relegated from the Premier League in 2007 - on the last day of the season! They are located at Bramall Lane and wear a strip of red and white striped shirts.

Meadowhall is an out of town shopping centre in Sheffield that was opened on in 1990. It is situated about three miles North East of Sheffield in South Yorkshire. This site is ideally located because it has a catchment area of many other cities all within an hours drive of Meadowhall. These cities include Leeds, Nottingham, Wakefield, Hull, Leicester, Barnsley, Doncaster and Rotherham. Since Meadowhall opened there have been nearly 20 million visitors in the first year, increasing to 22.2 million in year two, 24.7 in year three, 27.5 million in year four, reaching a plateau at around 30 million in the fifth, sixth and seventh years.
